Andrew: Marketing Lead & Design Coordinator

Andrew’s history at Fort began at 9 years old when his family was invited to Family Camp. Some of his favorite things to do at camp included swimming, carpetball, and hours spent at the archery range. Andrew attended TruNorth in 2013 and went on to earn a degree in Graphic Design from Colorado State University.

Andrew accepted the call to join Missionary Staff in the summer of 2022. In his role, Andrew leads the design of marketing and promotional materials such as brochures, social media posts, photography, videography, and much more!

Fast Facts

Andrew is originally from Minneapolis MN and is a diehard Vikings fan. He also enjoys painting, disc golf, and competitive games of broomball.

Fort Firsts

One of Andrew’s first memories at Fort is eating Frybread. His record as a kid is 22 pieces!

What passage of scripture is meaningful to you? Recently, Proverbs 16:9 has been on my heart. “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” Each day, I have been praying for God to direct my day and for his will to be done.

What is your favorite Fort memory? One of my favorite Fort memories happened the summer I was a counselor at our youth site, Adventure Outpost. It was Girl’s Camp week, and all the female campers and staff were away on an overnight. All the male staff decided to cook Wrangler’s Breakfast for dinner. We cooked a full breakfast with all the works for 10 guys. We concluded with a dance party in the Kitchen and had a blast!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? If I could have a superpower, I wouldn’t want anything crazy. I would want the ability to change my hair style and color at will. Endless opportunities for fun!
