Tools for the Lord's Work

Do you know what it’s like to try to do an important job, but be missing a tool or two?

It’s the same at Fort – though the tools might be a little different than yours at home! A canoe isn’t just a canoe. It’s a tool that allows campers to experience God’s creation. A school bus isn’t just a school bus. It’s a tool that brings students to camp to encounter an unforgettable week of growth, community, and fun. Our toolbox allows us to impact lives for eternity.

Skis and Snowshoes: tools for traveling to adventure lunch
Refrigerated Van: a tool for delivering ice cream to the youth campers
Woodshop: tools for learning something new
Adventure Gear: tools for stepping out of your comfort zone

Over time though, tools wear down and break and we need to replace and upgrade them.

Would you help the Fort replenish and renew its ministry toolbox?

Two ways to give:

Both physical and monetary gifts contribute to the ministry at Fort in significant ways. We accept donations to the Top 25 Needs Fund or physical items as Gifts in Kind. Due to the particular requirements of certain items, we would prefer to purchase those that fit our needs rather than receive them as Gifts in Kind. Look over the lists below for our top needs.

Gently Used Items (called “Gifts in Kind”)

Do you have one of these needed ministry tools in good working condition that you’d like to donate? From trucks and quality office chairs, to ladders and lawn equipment, and nearly everything in between, Fort has received gifts of items big and small that are used throughout the ministry. Our promise is that if we accept the gift, we will use it.

Top 25 Needs Fund

Help Fort move forward in areas of greatest need by giving to the Top 25 Needs Fund. We are grateful for each and every gift, and we will continue to be good stewards of what God entrusts to us.
