Fort’s Family Camps are designed to support families of any shape and size. Whether in tents, cabins, or the Fort Wilderness Inn, we aim to lift up and encourage every member of the family with specific sessions and activities. Morning sessions for Children, Jr. High, High School, and Adults will challenge everyone in their walk with God (Nursery Available).

Our great staff is willing and able to assist you in getting the most out of your week. We want you to come and spend time doing something you love, something you’ve never tried and nothing at all. This is sure to become a tradition that will impact you and your family for generations to come.

Fort Wilderness is a place for families and their friends to come and build memories around the campfire, flying down the tube hill or snowshoeing through the pines. We invite you to come relax among friends while enjoying the Northwoods in this most beautiful of seasons.
Accommodations at
Main Camp

Located between the sparkling waters
of Spider Lake and over 222,000
acres of state forest.

At main camp we host all of our Family Camps and Retreat Weekends throughout the year.

Here at the Fort we seek to meet you where your budget and lifestyle overlap. To do so, we offer 24 wooded campsites for those who like to “rough-it”, 15 new cabins and 4 rustic cabins for those who like more of the comforts of home, and 11 Inn rooms for those who want to be pampered a little more. Our cabins offer radiant heat, private bathrooms, seating area and lots of room. Inn rooms are set up much like a hotel with private bathroom, in-room heat/air-conditioning, queen-size bed and linens.
